A Fortune 125 Utility organization based on the East Coast is seeking an AR/VR Developer to join their Digital Transformation and Innovation team!

What you'll be joining:

• A team that is spearheading the digital transformation of the energy industry by delivering Augmented and Virtual Reality applications

What you'll be doing:

• Design effective VR scenarios
• Be involved with QA testing the application and documenting & fixing bugs
• Contribute in design & planning sessions
• Interface with stakeholders to document requirements for an application and faithfully implement the functionality required as described

What we'll be looking for:

• Deep understanding of Materials in VR, Shaders in VR, Rigging, Particle systems, UI, Animation, Level design
• Deep understanding of optimizations for renders and Shaders in VR
• Detailed Rigging and modeling of Characters and Environments with Autodesk Maya
• Application of realistic materials to meshes and exporting of texture maps using Substance Painter and or Substance Designer
• Benchmarking of FPS Performance in VR using the Oculus Quest.
