The Reality Labs organization includes Oculus and Portal products, augmented and virtual reality software and content, and research and development labs. We plan to release multiple products and technologies over the next few years that will define new categories and advance Facebook's mission of bringing the world closer together.Our ideal candidate is analytical and creative, and can transition between tactical project work as well as strategic influence within the organization and cross functional teams. This product marketing team is focused on the Reality Labs portfolio product marketing and strategy. Product marketing responsibilities include foundational analysis to identify market needs by segment, opportunity sizing, product portfolio positioning, gathering deep feedback from internal and external stakeholders.The candidate will have proven consumer marketing experience. He/she must be organized, detail-oriented, have a knack for problem solving and enjoy helping others.

Reality Labs Cross-Portfolio Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead Product Marketing strategy, tactics, and execution in partnership with key stakeholders, such as Product Marketing, Marcom, Communications, Developer Relations, and Product Growth teams to ensure we achieve our business goals and objectives
  • Lead culturally relevant portfolio marketing strategies, executions, and campaign development through a strategic lens on the consumer, that meets both short- and long-term business goals
  • Drive proficiency and skills through the creation and management of marketing content, events, and strategic programs for intended audience and build metrics of success for those behaviors
  • Capable of coordinating complex work streams across many product teams and drive strategic and tactical alignment on deliverables
  • Participate actively in our community and embody our PMM values

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing or product experiences
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and building relationships
  • Business operations experience in setting priorities, problem-solving, multitasking, and negotiation
  • Experience delivering communications to senior leadership and cross functional partners (e.g., engineers, product designers, creative teams, legal, policy, marketing, partnerships, ops)
  • Experience representing programs, projects and products with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, proven experience to get results across multiple groups and disciplines
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with highly developed analytical and critical thinking experience. Willingness to help make design strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Leads by creating a sense of ownership, and personal commitment to work
  • Experience managing agencies for daily work streams and creative deliverables as well as working with marketing cross-functional teams, including creative, research, analytics, and media
  • Effectiveness working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment, with experience adapting, spotting issues early, and escalate
  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking skills, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework
