The Reality Labs organization includes Oculus and Portal products, augmented and virtual reality software and content, and research and development labs. We plan to release multiple products and technologies over the next few years that will define new categories and advance Facebook's mission of bringing the world closer together.We are seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager who can establish and drive alignment on key goals, priorities and initiatives for the organization. They’ll think holistically, strategically and proactively to improve the effectiveness of the leadership team, the overall organization and its processes in partnership with the RL PMM team. This role requires a self-motivated and highly resourceful person who can understand and lead through influence and demonstrate discipline. The candidate will have proven executive level communication skills. He/she must be organized, detail-oriented, have a knack for problem solving and enjoy helping others.

Reality Labs Portfolio Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the organizational communication strategy, including employee engagement, internal comms, messaging, content for All-Hands, Fireside chats and other events.
  • Drive strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall organizational strategy as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments.
  • Team Development & Culture: Help make the team a great place to work. In partnership with team leads, shape and lead org health initiatives. Orchestrate team training and brown bag series to contribute to ongoing development. Define, plan and drive cross-team process improvements, including the core structure of how the team works and celebrates together.
  • Oversee yearly planning elements for the organization, including: headcount and OpEx planning with leadership.
  • Participate actively in our community and embody our PMM values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing or product experiences
  • Consumer Marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and building relationships
  • Business operations experience in setting priorities, problem-solving, multitasking, and negotiation
  • Experience delivering communications to senior leadership and cross functional partners (e.g., engineers, product designers, creative teams, legal, policy, marketing, partnerships, operations)
  • Experience representing programs, projects and products with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, proven experience in getting results across multiple groups and disciplines
  • Meaningful experience as a change agent and leading organizational change
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with highly developed analytical and critical thinking experience. Willingness to help make design strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Experience leading by example, creating a sense of ownership, and personal commitment to work
