The Reality Labs group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building the tools and experiences that make people feel closer together. This includes Oculus and Portal products, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). We are seeking a Program Manager to join our RL Brand Marcom team to support our Brand strategy and Brand marketing workstreams. The ideal candidate has experience in managing highly complex programs, with multiple stakeholder organizations, and significant scale. In particular, the candidate has experience with managing programs in marketing, creative, events, or partnerships and demonstrated understanding of some or all of these functions. They are an organized self-starter who proactively identifies and solves problems. This individual thrives and enjoys a fast-paced, cross-functional, and action-oriented environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the brand marketing process across multiple touch points (including strategy, naming, e-commerce, in store, advertising, creative) in the consumer electronics industry. They will exhibit strong organizational and budget management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects successfully and efficiently.

Brand Program Manager - Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Brand Strategy and cross-functional teams to define briefs, manage end to end creative process, and approvals through delivery
  • Ensures development plans are set to meet campaign goals and quality bar, and ensures on time delivery with strong communication leading up to launches
  • Own the program management of high priority, cross-product projects that require operational excellence and communication skills to deliver the program with excellence
  • Drive visibility, stakeholder alignment and decision making across large cross-functional teams including Creative, Product, Retail, Product Marketing, International Marketing and company leadership
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to form a highly collaborative workflow that meets program goals, quality bar and drives on-time delivery, often with tight deadlines
  • Mobilize the team towards forward progress, action, and results by anticipating needs and removing obstacles
  • Budget oversight for the program budget to ensure finance has clear monthly forecasts and the program delivers on budget
  • Facilitate, document and disseminate decisions to key stakeholders
  • Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and viable solutions across multiple teams and projects
  • Maintain brand integrity across all project deliverables, working closely within Design, Legal and Product guidance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years client-facing experience within a creative or brand agency, large production studio and/or client-side in a digital product marketing company
  • 4+ years experience working with external agencies/production companies as well as internal teams
  • Experience in brand strategy and naming projects, creative planning and development, production and delivery
  • Experience defining schedules, assessing proposed production processes, managing assets, and being the daily point of contact for the internal team
  • Experience in project management and relationship building
  • Experience with time management, task prioritization, and identifying problems and work towards solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both creative and design process and strategy
  • Experience working as a cross-functional manager within a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment
  • Demonstrated experience in providing creative feedback and critique

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales
  • Certification in Program Management (e.g. Prince2 or PMP)
  • Experience working with a large, global tech company
  • Domain expertise in Consumer Electronics or Hardware
  • Experience with handling sourcing needs and management level escalations
