About You:

We're looking for a VP of Sales to join our team at BadVR! In the last year, we established product-market fit and grew revenue with only our founding team as salespeople - we are now looking for a leader to build a world-class sales team at BadVR. You will be responsible for growing our revenue, recruiting, managing, and building our sales organization while developing and refining BadVR's sales and broader GTM strategy - if that sounds exciting to you, we'd love to chat!

BadVR is based in Manhattan Beach, CA, but we have transitioned to a fully remote workplace model during this time. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position with the expectation of Pacific Standard Time (PST) time zone M-F, 10-6PM availability.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the go-to-market team and execution, including all sales (new logos and cross-selling existing clients), lead generation, and industry expansion efforts.
  • Lead all the enterprise sales activity
  • Develop business development, sales and marketing strategy
  • Act as a motivator and leader for the sales organization as a whole.
  • Create incentive plans for the team and create a strong, collaborative environment.
  • Create and execute short and long-term sales plans, including strategies, goals, quotas, tracking mechanisms, and analytics.
  • Serve as the face of the company with large existing accounts and new potential customers.
  • Build and work pipelines and close deals.
  • Day-to-day oversight of sales activities.
  • Build, develop, iterate and improve on BadVR's sales playbook.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and improve our broader GTM strategy.
  • Report directly to CEO and founding team on sales metrics and revenue forecasts.


Requirements:

  • BS, BA degree or on-the-job equivalent
  • Prior experience in scaling business from 1M to 20M+
  • 5+ yrs in enterprise sales and 5+ yrs in enterprise SaaS sales leadership roles in relevant industry - telecom or government.
  • Experience running a successful sales team that has hit its goals repeatedly
  • A knack of identifying patterns and insights from customer conversations
  • Ability to think from first-principles to build a playbook uniquely suited to BadVR
  • Excellent leadership skills, with proven ability to develop a high-performance, customer-focused and responsive sales team.
  • Proven ability to proactively and successfully manage sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; able to interface well with all other disciplines of the business at an executive, managerial, and individual contributor level.
  • Passion for immersive (AR/VR) technology!
