Job Description
- Hybrid: 2 days in office – Flex Fridays
- Duration: 1 year contract-to-hire
A leading aerospace defense company is looking for a skilled Virtual Reality/Unity Developer to join a cutting edge missile development program. You will join a team of high level engineers and assist in the design, development, install and test of varying user interfaces. These interfaces will ultimately be utilized in dress rehearsals of critical operational scenarios in various aspects of missile performance tests at all stages of the buildout.
Must Haves
- Computer Science Major preferred, software engineer would work but is more aligned with computer engineering (4 yr degree preferred, not required)
- Game engine development experience
- Unity uses C# computer language (this is the system we currently use)
- Unreal uses C computer language
- Geometry optimization experience for graphics rendering
- This may align with the title of “Video Game Developer”
- Someone with VR/AR (Virtual/Augmented Reality) development experience is probably well versed in geometry optimization
- UX experience for designing a 3D user-interface
- GIT experience for code development
- Mid-level, 3-5 years (the technology isn’t much older)
