Ready at Dawn is searching for an Audio Lead to join our team!As a Lead on the Ready at Dawn Audio Team, you will use your combined leadership, creative, and technical skills to collaboratively explore, define, and bring to life a new class of audio experiences on the forefront of new and emerging platforms, with a heavy emphasis on Virtual Reality.

Audio Lead Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Audio Director and collaborate with multifunctional game teams to ensure that the long-term project audio needs are met in conjunction with creative, narrative, art, technical and design considerations.
  • Manage and produce any and all VO, musical, foley, or other recording sessions as needed for Ready at Dawn projects.
  • Help identify, connect, and coordinate with any/all audio talent and internal/external resources as required.
  • Mentor and manage cross-functional audio team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience working as an interactive audio designer/developer.
  • 2+ years of experience managing internal and external creative team members to achieve high quality results in games and nonlinear media in a leadership role.
  • Expertise recording, designing and implementing high-quality, innovative audio experiences across multiple platforms, genres, and styles.
  • Experience working in all phases of game development from ideation to pre-production, to ship and post ship states.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members in craft and tech skills.
  • Self-management, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Great communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledgeable about audio and its role in VR, AR, and other emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VR and/or Mixed Reality development experience.
