Position: QA Coordinator

Interplay Learning is entering our next stage of growth with a dedication to quality as we expand our footprint.

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to keep our eye on the prize with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production and releases across our software and content.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized and methodical with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy and functionality on first release. You will be charged with improving and maintaining a complete QA program that safeguards the quality of our products and fosters a "quality culture," in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.

What You'll Do
  • Improve and maintain our quality assurance process
  • Manage QA of outgoing product features to confirm conformance to specifications and quality
  • Analyze and investigate reported quality issues during testing and post-release monitoring to ensure resolution
  • Manage our workflows with QA vendors
  • Carefully maintain records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
  • Assist product operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels and KPIs
  • Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management
  • Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
  • Identify training needs and take action to ensure compliance
  • Pursue continuous learning on new solutions, technology, and skills

Requirements
  • Superb computer competence, including database management
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
