We are currently seeking a polymer process and characterization engineer to work with the research and product teams to develop the polymer films.

Responsibilities
  • Develop polymer film process under guidance from senior scientists and engineers
  • Conduct different polymer characterizations including rheometer, DMA, Instron, DSC, FTIR, spectrometer, optical retardation and others.
  • Analyze testing data and develop scientific insights
  • Write testing reports and present the testing results to teams
  • Lab equipment maintenance
Minimum qualification
  • 4+ years of experience with polymer characterizations; or bachelor's degree in material science or engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience of data analysis of polymer characterizations and testings
  • Able to follow complicated SOP procedures
  • Clear communication and report writing
Preferred Qualification
  • PhD in polymer science and engineering
  • Solid understanding of optical and mechanical properties of polymer and their dependencies on structure and processing
  • Expert in rheological testing
  • Experience in ellipsometry is a plus
  • Experience in Statistical Process Control is a plus
  • Lab equipment maintenance experience
