Job Title: AR/VR Developer

Job Location – Parsippany, NJ (Remote)

Duration: Long term Contract

Direct Client/ No Layers




Job Description:

  • They will be presented with an experiential scenario and expected to participate in brainstorms to develop augmented reality options that they can implement quickly either with code or no code software
  • They will then develop the AR experience with regular course correction checkins with the team.

The AR experience will include:

  • Graphic elements - these may be provided by other creatives, found online or developed by this person.
  • Sound elements - these may be found online or developed by this person.
  • 3D models - these can be found online, but the expectation is that the person will be significantly enhancing found models or developing new, custom models
  • Animation of elements - these will need to be programmed or configured by the consultant
  • Interactions with elements - these will need to be programmed or configured by the consultant
  • They will then test & deploy the experience
  • They will assure that the experience is live, monitor analytics, and present those analytics with recommendations for improvement to the team.

Culmination

  • This person will leave the role having created multiple AR experiences
  • They will assure that people are trained on both the code (if used, it should be well documented) and the no-code elements if used.

Ideally this person has the following:

  • An understanding of experience design, event or conference strategy, business strategy, and marketing fundamentals such that they can explain the ‘why’ behind their creative decisions
  • Experience building creative for events and conferences
  • The ability to edit sound
  • The ability to program one of the following languages fluently:
  • Unity
  • C#
  • C/C++
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • Swift
