As a DRAM Component Validation Engineer for the DRAM Engineering Group, you will be part of a forward-thinking and diverse team of engineers that solves sophisticated problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free releases to customers. In this role, we develop and hone our technical skills including programming, data analysis, and project planning in order to improve our process.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Teams on Preparation for Silicon
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and Design Engineering to better understand the “weaknesses” of the device, and prioritize testing for these areas
- Develop programs and processes for initial silicon with international teams
- Optimize processes by writing software to improve efficiency of tests and data processing
- Drive action through effective data presentation and data story telling
- Solve issues with multi-functional teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Act as product-specific point of contact
- Provide mentorship on modern software and data methodologies
- Attend and contribute to technical seminars
- Bachelor’s Degree with a balance of both hardware and software skills
- Familiarity and/or experience with Linux, Python, and Git
- Highly motivated with a real passion for problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (Nextest, Teradyne, Advantest, Verigy, etc.)
- Basic understanding of DRAM operations
