We’re an international team of visionaries and scientists, developing groundbreaking technologies that are transforming how the world uses information to enrich life. We are looking for a passionate DRAM Design Reliability Engineer.
What You Will Be Doing
As a engineer in Micron’s DRAM Design Quality Group you will collaborate with nearly all or Micron’s worldwide engineering teams supporting design for reliability activities.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Work with customers and sales/marketing to gain an understanding of DRAM field use cases and how these relate to transistor aging
- Understand and document the analog voltage data base for all DRAM designs
- Drive and develop logic (Verilog) and spice (finesim) simulation methodologies and tools that allow Micron teams to predict the performance impact of transistor aging mechanisms such as hot carrier (HC) and negative/positive bias temperature instability (N/PBTI)
- Drive, and develop methodologies and/or tools and models to predict or minimize the impact of new transistor degradation mechanisms that are an inevitable side effect of DRAM process technology development
- Define, design, layout, test and debug reliability experiment circuits
- Provide teams with circuit topologies and/or layout methodologies that will minimize transistor aging risks and/or performance impacts.
- Provide simulation feedback and debugging assistance to silicon testing teams when reliability issues are discovered or implicated
- Support quality risk assessments for production excursions and unexpected field use cases
Education & Experience
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Must possess good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Good understanding of transistor level circuit design, layout, and verification
- Familiar with common transistor aging mechanisms
- Familiar with industry standard tools such as cadence, LVS, DRC, ERC and analog/digital simulation tools, i.e. HSPICE, System Verilog, FINESIM, SimVision
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Job title is scalable depending on your background.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
