About echo3D:

echo3D is a cloud platform for 3D/AR/VR that provides tools and network infrastructure to help developers & companies quickly build and deploy 3D apps, games, and content.


The Opportunity:

As a community & social media manager, you will manage and grow our online community. You will be responsible for building our community strategy, drafting and posting content, and responding to followers. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.


Location: Remote-first, NYC


Responsibilities:

  • Owning and creating a communication strategy for user-facing social media channels
  • Growing, managing, and engaging our communities on Facebook, Linkedin, Slack, Discord, Twitter, Dev.to, and more
  • Creating content for users such as inspiring articles, product demos, tutorials, and video shorts
  • Establishing sponsorships for hackathons and other coding events as well as 3D/AR/VR associations
  • Identifying and engaging with influencers and ambassadors


Requirements:

  • +2 years of experience in the community management, social media management, or developer relations
  • Advanced understanding of the 3D/AR/VR/Metaverse space
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to an audience of varying technical understanding
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • US work authorization
