The Metaverse is enabled by the convergence of XR, 5G, AI, Cloud, and Web3 technologies. This allows the creation of immersive and interactive spatial environments linking the physical and virtual worlds, and potentially powered by their own native digital economies. Position summaryWork you'll do
  • Take responsibility for developing aesthetically pleasing, technically accurate or stylized, optimized 3D models for real time platforms for projects including AR, MR and VR
  • Work closely with both internal, cross-functional teams and external clients on projects of varying length and complexity
  • Work closely with other disciplines (Game Design, Engineering, Visual Design)
  • Conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a schedule, while actively participating in technical and artistic problem solving
What you have:

Key Skills: Maya, Unity, Unreal
  • 3+ years of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and basic animation
  • 3+ years of Maya and the Unity or Unreal game engines
  • Integrating and testing art assets in the Unity or Unreal game engines
  • Experience lighting interior and exterior environments in Unity or Unreal
  • Level art experience (designing, building, and maintaining a complete Unity or Unreal scene)
  • Experience solving technical art challenges in Unity or Unreal
  • Well-rounded knowledge of 3D design principles and techniques
  • Experience in high and low poly modeling
  • Experience with Substance Painter/Designer, PBR materials
  • Ability to deliver assets within the confines of real-time engine constraints and programming demands
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Suite
  • Ability to organize and self-direct to get things done
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for playing and making games/experiences
  • Experience working on a game asset from concept art, through development, to polish and final delivery
  • Ability to work from concepts and reference images to produce accurate and consistent models
  • Experience in optimization and integrating assets from different sources into a cohesive whole
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Bonus Points:
  • Understanding of the Unity or Unreal Development pipeline
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience implementing and optimizing models for XR applications
  • Experience in basic scripting
  • Experience in creating particle systems and effects
  • Experience with character modeling (realistic or stylized), rigging, and animation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $78,000 to $97,000.
