About The Role

Mass Virtual is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor / Visual Storyteller. In this role, you will successfully develop, manage, implement, and produce all audio/video content to support Mass Virtual’s next-generation augmented reality / virtual reality-based training solutions and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent creative and storytelling skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a video production role.

Demo reel must be submitted with application.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supports pre-production, production and post-production of all video and audio related tasks
• Suggests technology or content ideas to help the creative team achieve the desired outcome
• Work closely with the Media Director to develop and produce all video-related content
• Works with the production, design, and development teams to bring ideas to life
• Create and tell compelling stories, scriptwriting for segments as well as complete videos
• Create storyboards and shot lists for pre-production analysis
• Contribute design and technical skills and new ideas to maximize in-house video production workflows
• Record and produce voice-over narration
• Maintains software and hardware for digital media acquisition, player and editor servers
• Responsible for managing and keeping records of all video and audio content available
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Strong passion for releasing quality products
• Interactive media Sound Design experience
• Video motion graphics production experience
• Ability to find creative and innovative solutions for existing and future video delivery mediums
• In-depth understanding of industry-standard video compression, targeting multiple platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and diligent attributes with sharp attention to detail
• Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Must be experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
  

Great To Have

• VR/AR video production experience
• Experience in game-based training application development.
• Familiar with Unity-based applications for AR and/or VR platforms.
• Experience with audio middleware such as WWise or FMod
• Music composition and production
• Scriptwriting for video segments
