MALKA is looking for a creative Copywriter to work on a range of projects including, commercials, VFX, animation, VR, AR, music videos, documentary, social and corporate campaigns. The ideal candidate is incredibly curious, a life-long learner, reader, writer, creator, and artist. We are looking for someone who is more than a strong writer, but can wear many hats and is a conceptual thinker that can bring ideas to life. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly, ideate, brainstorm, work well with others, self-starter, are on top of social media trends, and have the ability to think strategically, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Every day will be different – you may be asked to write the script for a 30 second TV spot, craft the narrative for an animated series, or concept an original idea for a B2B video.

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for a wide range of projects
• Interpret briefs to understand project requirements
• Ideate, brainstorm, and help raise the bar with a team of other creatives
• Conduct high-quality research and interviews
• Contribute strategically to the long-term vision of the brand, internally and with the client
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Write copy and concepts for new business pitches
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach when appropriate

Requirements:

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• 2-5 years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency setting
• Strong research skills
• Creativity and a collaborative spirit
• Excellent time-management, communication and organizational skills
• BA/BS degree in related field
• A portfolio that displays a wide range of creative work and conceptual abilities
