Job Description

Background: Vectrona requires a seasoned professional with experience in training program design and development to lead implementation of digital training transformations. You will lead customer engagement, needs analysis, solution development, and implementation of cutting-edge extended reality (AR/MR/VR) digital training solutions in training programs ranging from aviation maintenance to commercial nuclear power.

Day-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead customer engagement to assess needs, and develop and implement solutions
• Conduct Return on Investment analysis for proposed solution strategies
• Proactively measure and monitor project performance, identify, and manage risks, and employ mitigation tactics
• Provide on-going project communication through meetings, presentations, e-mail, and other means
• Participate in strategy development, solution design, and proposal writing
• Support budget development and management
• Stay current with innovations in XR, 3D data integration/visualization, and AI/ML

Preferred Education/Degree (minimum): Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

Preferred Experience: 12+ years of professional leadership and management experience in aircraft maintenance and training operations.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications across all levels of stakeholders, both internal and client facing
• Superior systems analysis, problem development, and solution design skills
• Strong understanding of project management principles from initiation through planning, executing, and quality control to prioritize work and shift priorities as needed
• Training and readiness program development and instructional systems design
• Self-motivated, high performer who thrives in an independent work environment, but is also needed onsite for projects or team activities.

Approximately 10-20 percent CONUS travel can be expected.
