We’re looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to help support our new 50,000 square-feet lithium-ion battery production facility in Fremont, California for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.



Job Summary:

Enovix is seeking a Vision Systems and Controls Engineer to join our awesome and growing team of innovators at our 45,000 sq. ft lithium-ion battery production facility in Fremont, California, for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery. Learn more at Enovix.com.



Responsibilities:

  • Integrate vision systems into the manufacturing line to enable part placement accuracy, dimensional measurement, and defect detection
  • Define metrology needs and strategy for high volume assembly processes
  • Work with equipment design team and external vendors
  • Automate measurements/data extraction and organize them in formats usable by end users
  • Conduct equipment development projects with equipment suppliers
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet process development needs


Qualifications:

  • Experience with Keyence, Cognex, and other off the shelf vision equipment
  • Understanding of Metrology fundamentals
  • Familiarity with factory data collection and management systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Experience working in high volume and pilot production environments
  • Experience with high volume assembly and packaging processes
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
