The Glimpse Group (Nasdaq: VRAR) is a diversified Virtual and Augmented Reality platform company, composed of multiple VR and AR software & services companies, and designed with the specific purpose of cultivating companies in the emerging VR/AR industry. Our subsidiaries help transform brands by creating innovative digital content for marketing, communications, sales, entertainment, conferences, virtual events, training and simulation. Our experience in the industry runs both deep and wide, including elements like augmented and virtual reality, microsites, apps, photorealistic 3D animation, interactive game technology, and video production. 

We help our clients to dream the impossible, then make it happen. We are looking to add a Director of IT to our team who will be responsible for working with all our subsidiaries with their IT needs and establish best practices across The Glimpse Group. 

Responsibilities:

• Be able to work from start to finish, by yourself or coordinating a team
• Develop IT processes and documentation
• Domains and DNS Records Mastery
• Maintain Emails + Groups
• Maintain Websites
• Maintain Subscriptions
• AWS / GCP Knowledge
• Office IT Management
• Knowledge of Git
• Security and Recovery
• Hardware Purchasing and Maintenance
• IDPS Management / Cisco Meraki

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

This job will be located at Glimpse subsidiary Sector 5 Digital’s Amon Carter Blvd studio, just south of DFW Airport.  You will be working remotely with The Glimpse Group HQ in NYC and the other subsidiaries in the US and around the world.
