Job Summary:

Enovix is seeking Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team that will develop and commission high volume automated assembly equipment, and tooling used in the production of our unique 3D cell architecture.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and contractors
  • Support manufacturing process scale-up activities and production ramp
  • Debug current issues, improve cycle times, yields, equipment uptime
  • Work closely with manufacturing and infrastructure teams to improve equipment reporting and tracking systems and identify gaps on existing equipment
  • Develop equipment interface to MES
  • Deploy metrology
  • Develop factory warehousing system
  • Develop controls strategy for new manufacturing equipment
  • Create controls specifications for our vendor partners to develop new equipment
  • Vet Automation Integrator designs, coding, HMIs, recipe management, MES interface, state data (faults)
  • Manage Internal Automation Group controls projects
  • Develop customized automation equipment including system design, electrical drawings, programming, and commissioning
  • Effectively communicate priorities and project updates




Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a team of engineers or controls specialists
  • Hands-on experience with PLC’s (Siemens and Bosch preferred), MES integration, HMI’s, SCADA, and pneumatic and servo-motion systems
  • Experience with factory electrical systems
  • Familiarity with factory data collection and management systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, highly creative environment
  • 10+ years of work experience, and engineering degree
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
