We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Coordinator to support virtual reality marketing revenue growth and operations to work with some of the most exciting up-and-coming products for a Fortune 500 technology client. The Business Development Coordinator will support the VR teams in building processes and structures to scale the business. Activities include leading events, community and organic social media coordination, and supporting market and online store readiness as other special projects. Reporting to the Business Development Manager in the US, the role offers an opportunity to help build processes for an emerging business area, drive the scaling of exciting technology and play a key role in creating the future of computing. What you'll do... Build and create processes and structures to support an intrapreneurial team as they scale for success. Support go-to-market efforts around product and online store readiness. Support with after-sales support and order prioritization. Research, hunt and identify prospective clients, Independent Software Vendors and partners Generate deal flow and coordinate lead generation with the US BDM, Sales Team and Channel. Support VR teams in event management and working with influencers and Client ambassadors. Establish and manage day in and day out testing-and-learning plans to continuously optimize practices. Partner closely with peers across the organization, including the product team, business development team, developer relations team, worldwide marketing team, and engineering team. Leverage data and insights to inform processes and structures and then work cross-functionally to execute programs. Assist with managing, updating, and reporting out program level budget Perform marketing support activities as needed, e.g. PO and accrual management proof of execution. Build, own, and implement robust community and organic social media strategies for each assigned business. Take on ad-hoc projects as needed. Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, fun, and continuous improvement. Required Skills and Expectations 2+ years of Marketing and Outbound Sales Experience Self-Starter Mindset with demonstrated success. Highly organized and efficient. Results-oriented, strong follow-up skills. Focus on Problem Solving. Optimistic attitude with a focus thought process toward Business Growth. Detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically across the short, medium, and long term. Love of learning about new technology, evolving marketing and media trends, and technology to serve our business Thoughtful, collaborative teamwork skills with Strong Communication Skills. Experience with marketing operations, event management, community creation, content creation, and measurement. Demonstrated ability to create close alignment and collaboration with other teams. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and business skills. Agile Marketing Frameworks experience or willingness to learn and implement is a BONUS. Bachelor's degree preferred. Interest in Virtual Reality preferred.
