Camera DV Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage in Technical discussions across cross-functional teams
• Systems team: participate in Algorithm development and review / influence optimal imaging solutions.
• Design & Architects: engage & review specifications and data flows.
• Software & Firmware team: collaborate towards end-to-end product development.
  
• Implement new or incremental test benches to adapt to new requirements by extensively applying object-oriented concepts & UVM methodology.
• Write parameterized & scalable verification plans targeting diverse SoC IP deliveries.
• Write complex constraints and sequences to create corner case Algorithm and pipeline tuning scenarios.
• Verify functionality as well as KPIs for Use-Case Power & Performance.
• Use Simulation/Formal/Assertion/Emulation flows to converge Functional and Code coverages.
• Debug complex issues across multiple verification platforms
  
  

Ideal candidate will have below

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related field with 0 - 7 years of experience

Or

Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related field with 0 - 5 years of experience.

Experience

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with design verification defining test plans, developing verification infrastructure and execution of defined test plans to meet required Metrics of Closure.
• Expertise with Hardware verification languages (HVL) such as System Verilog testbench (OVM/UVM)
• Development of Directed and Constrained Random stimulus
• Strong Digital Design concepts and debugging skills with expertise in traversing Verilog/System-Verilog RTL
• Exposure to Formal flows is a plus.
• Experience with Verification of Complex IP/SOC with exposure to End-to-end verification methodologies is a plus
• Experience with simulation acceleration and emulation platforms is a plus
• Exposure to ARM Architectures, Camera Systems, Imaging Process and Technologies, Imaging sensors is a plus.

Programming proficiency - HDL, HVL-System Verilog with OVM/UVM, C/C++ OR SystemC

Scripting proficiency - Perl, Python, TCL, Shell

Physical Requirements

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Work Experiences

2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
