We are looking for a motivated Product Specialist who can help drive growth in our product lines. This will involve all aspects of the product development process from conception to end of life utilizing your skills in engineering and marketing.

What you will do is:

• Develop messaging and content for product releases and existing product enhancements
• Create advertisements, data sheets, website content, product memos and newsletters
• Assist building tradeshow displays, attend tradeshows and knowledgeably speak to customers about our products
• Test and evaluate prototypes, first articles for new products, product capabilities and requirements.
• Answer customer inquiries and act as technical advisor for our Optomech product line.
• Support the evaluation of markets, application and customer needs, competition, market trends/dynamics and segmentation to identify new opportunities and threats
• Manage product lifecycles
• Under guidance of the Product Line Manager define new products including business plans and product positioning in the marketplace
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to enhance existing products and product lines

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Optics, Marketing, Physics or other similar degrees
• 3-5 years of engineering and/or product marketing experience
• Optical, mechanical and testing experience is a plus
• Experience with Solidworks is a plus
