Job Description

  • Development responsibility as a part of the digital technology application promotion team in the company’s engineering and data innovation department.
  • Create various types of content to support AR / VR implementation throughout the company.
  • Create automation to support workflow between company’s CAD System (CATIA V5) and AR / VR technology.
  • Support data organization and creation of digital media utilizing advanced visualization and rendering tools.
  • Setup equipment and software to host meetings in AR / VR.
  • Integrate and apply new technology in existing company systems and processes.
  • Create new operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing content in Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Programmer in a mature team, studio environment, or agency for developing games, applications, or similar products.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HILS programming experience.
  • Experience using AR / VR hardware, such as HTC VIVE Pro HMD, Varjo HMD, or Microsoft Hololens.
  • Experience using AR / VR software, such as ESI IC.IDO or VRED.
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages, such as PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, C++, or Visual Studio.
  • Basic understanding of CATIA V5.
  • Strong computing background, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Ability to work to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form to management and other departments:
    • New project proposals.
    • Meeting minutes and future actions.
    • Requests for support to overcome challenges.
    • Reporting out work results.
    • Collaborating with others in similar roles in other company locations.
