Virtual Therapeutics is building virtual reality products that will change the way we think about health and wellness. We are a new company, but we have decades of experience and a unique set of resources at our disposal.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a Project Manager and Scrum Master to support our engineering team. You will need to be comfortable executing in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to structure and run concurrent projects. Success in this position will require strong organizational skills, leadership, communication, and a high comfort level with ambiguity.

Our team is new and growing fast. We will be looking to you to:

• Assist engineering leadership in the scoping, planning, and execution of software projects.
• Facilitate and participate in a scrum-inspired agile engineering process, with responsibility for sprint planning, retrospectives, and team standups.
• Support the engineering team in creating specifications and defining work activities by participating in regular backlog refinement sessions.
• Work with existing stakeholders to refine and improve our engineering process.
• Participate in operational activities related to the deployment and management of our product.
• Test and evaluate team outputs to provide feedback and ensure a high degree of quality.
• Stay up to date with ongoing developments in project management and agile software engineering.
• Provide project management expertise and support to other projects and initiatives across the company.
  

What We Are Looking For

• BA/BS with a preference for a technical degree.
• 4+ years of experience as a scrum master or project manager.
• Familiarity and experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Comfort working both independently and within a tightly knit team.
• Comfort and familiarity with productivity tools such as JIRA, Slack, Trello, and the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  

You Might Also Have

• Scrum Master certification.
• Experience using and working with virtual reality applications and devices.
• Experience with testing and quality assurance of technical systems and outputs.
• Familiarity with the creation and deployment of software projects on cloud services such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• An Interest in developing product management skills.
