Serving as a Software Engineer in the AVEVA XR Team you will be involved in working on the new proprietary AVEVA Industrial Metaverse and authoring tools, maintain the graphical editors and environment and implement new functionalities.

In this role you will:

• Design/Implementation of VR/AR/MR Metaverse systems, libraries and tools;

• Contribute to documentation inside BU knowledge base;

• Collaborate to the proprietary technology framework development;

• Main focus will be on maintaining and expanding the proprietary XR authoring tools and creating new low-code/no-code industrial Meteverse.

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of 3D Math, Linear Algebra, Trigonometry, Linear transformations;

• Experience as a Software developer;

• Basic knowledge of current Realtime Rendering Pipelines, Augmented/Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality technologies and how they work;

• Working experience of C# is required;

• Experience with UX interfaces design and implementation;

• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of other programming languages like Java, HTML Scripting, etc.;

• Knowledge of third parties Game Engines SDK like Unity or Unreal Engine is;

• Good communicator, capacity to provide synthetic information to management;

• Good relationship skills & capacity to understand interlocutors’ issues to find best possible solution;

• Capacity to take initiative & propose improvements;

• Experience with Oculus, Vive, Hololens and other VR/AR/MR devices.
