Unreal Technical Artist

Employer

Job Description

Nigel Wright Recruitment is working with a tech company on this search.

Overview

Our client creates VR & AR experiences, games and animation but they are not your typical tech company.

They rethink and redeploy the technology and practices of the entertainment sector and take them into new spaces. They work in many sectors from culture to construction, engineering to academia, healthcare to heritage. They grapple with communications challenges, distil complex messages and reveal the unseen with graphics, immersion and interaction.

Their audiences are broad, from children to professors, from parents to politicians, from sales executives to entrepreneurs. They see things with fresh eyes and impart messages in new ways. They tell stories and deliver experiences.

What they deliver is fun and engaging, people learn things, people go on to do things and people remember. It's Virtual Reality. It's Animation. It's Augmented Reality. It's Games. It's more. And it’s always for a serious purpose, delivering real value in the real world.

They make this look effortless but it's not. They need great team members and are looking for people with curiosity, drive, a talent for building with digital and looking for a new challenge.

Why choose them?

Their team is at the heart of everything they do and they are committed to helping you reach your true potential. You’ll have the opportunity for personal, professional and skills development. You’ll also have a good work life balance too, as they operate a hybrid working scheme with remote options for part of your working week (you'll be expected in the office 2-3 times a month but ideally morew) with generous holidays too.

Add to this a competitive salary and a yearly bonus based on the company performance for all team members after a qualifying period. When the company does well, the team share in the upside.

They even provide free drinks and snacks when you're at HQ and run social events to bring everyone together at least twice a year.
