Job Description

Meta is looking for an Art Producer to join the Avatars team focused on shipping best-in-class digital humans and VR/AR experiences. The Producer will establish and maintain operational procedures, manage art pipelines, scope and provide schedules, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and consistent communication between all key stakeholders. The Producer role requires a broad knowledge of design and development processes, excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.The Metaverse Art group brings together world-class experts to pioneer the future of social virtual and augmented reality applications, and we are looking for a leader in art production.

Art Producer Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Art team to define the art components, scope, and goals for key features within our various projects.
  • Initiate and manage vendor contracts/purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine mutual vision, goals and project requirements for product features.
  • Establish and create processes to help the art team run efficiently and smoothly.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate production red flags while executing against ambitious targets.
  • Consistently communicate with cross-functional partners to provide schedules and timelines for the overall product development programs.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams for critical input on visual targets and localized content.
  • Track asset pipeline, releases, and versioning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in game development, film, or interactive media.
  • Experience driving the production process and shipping large, multi-medium projects with 3D pipelines.
  • Proven experience prioritizing and juggling multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working cooperatively with artists, engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Leadership, communication, and diplomatic skills.
  • Experience with production toolsets (e.g. ShotGrid, Asana, Jira, Trello).
  • Interest for empowering creative teams to produce results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VR development.
