We are looking for a strong marketing leader to help grow Azure’s AI business. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team with the charter of defining the messaging and narrative for the Azure AI portfolio and for driving adoption among practitioner audiences. Responsibilities include customer facing technical content, practitioner-focused campaigns, and developing and delivering demonstrations for executive-level event keynotes. This role requires excellent management skills, critical thinking, cross-group collaboration and storytelling skills as well as a passion for developer and data science audiences.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Active practice Microsoft’s leadership principles of model, coach and care to establish a great work environment for the team and to foster their growth and development
  • Deeply understand customer needs and identify common use cases and solution patterns
  • Assess competitive landscapes and develop content to highlight our differentiated value and assist sales and customer success teams with compete escalations
  • Develop customer facing technical content (e.g., whitepapers, ebooks, architecture guides and videos) to be used across our digital channels
  • Help define Azure AI’s presence at Microsoft-hosted events
  • Support product disclosures in partnership with engineering, other marketing teams and communications
Drive analyst/influencer engagement for Azure AI
  • Apply innovative storytelling techniques to create great customer evidence to inspire practitioners
Qualifications

Role Readiness Prerequisites:
  • 8+ years of product marketing/product management experience
  • At least 4+ years proven people manager with excellent leadership skills, a desire to help people do their best work, find their best career path, and supportive of bringing an inclusive perspective to their work
  • Aptitude for quickly learning new and emerging technologies
  • Experience with AI and machine learning offerings is strongly desired
  • Ability to explain customer scenarios and solution architectures in a simple manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and storytelling skills are required
  • Strong project management, critical thinking and cross-group collaboration skills are required
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or some related discipline
  • Some travel required
