Responsibilities
  • Work within the 3D environment team to help create re-usable and cohesive texture sets.
  • Define a growing library of shared texture assets used internally and externally. 
  • Help define pipelines and standards of best practices for multiple rendering paths pertaining to low-end to high-end platforms.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience and/or at least 1 AAA shipped titles contributing as a material or texture artist. 
  • Shipped a title using Substance Designer.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Due to contractual limitations and ITAR obligations associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
  • 1324b(a)(3) is required. 
  • Candidates selected for this position must comply with Federal Executive Order 14042 mandating that federal contractors and subcontractors receive the COVID-19 vaccine by being fully vaccinated before their date of hire, or work with Microsoft to receive an approved religious or medical accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with working across multiple art styles, from hyper-realistic to super-stylized. 
  • Knowledge of real-time 3D Art.
  • Augmented or Virtual Reality experience. 
  • Unity, Unreal, or related game engine experience. 
  • A well-rounded understanding of platform rendering limits from mobile to next generation consoles. 
  • Awesome cross-discipline collaboration skills. 
  • Great communication, written and verbal.
