Mixed reality is predicted to revolutionize the way people work. The Mixed Reality Applications team uses the most advanced augmented reality technologies in the world to build tool grade innovative software to be used daily in the modern workplace. We are engaged with first line workers to develop heads up and hands-free experiences that delivers the knowledge in context they need to tackle new challenges. We have two in-market apps that are being deployed by some of the world’s top companies: Guides | Microsoft Dynamics 365 with easy to author step-by-step holographic instructions and Remote Assist | Microsoft Dynamics 365 which lets a remote expert see through the eyes of a worker and annotate into their view to help them solve problems. We offer Mixed Reality solutions on HoloLens and mobile that are deployed to customers around the world for a wide range of scenarios from manufacturing to field service and education.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team to advance our in market product solutions. In this role, you will set objectives and lead the development of product features that help shape the future of these apps and the future of Mixed Reality in real world scenarios.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:
  • You will join a cross-functional feature development team of seasoned engineers and designers to define and deliver new capabilities and featuresfor our early-stage products on PC, mobile and Hololens
  • You willdeliver strong opinions with clarity by applying your experience in product strategy, leveraging user research, data analysis and customer outreach to define scenarios that enable data-driven customer and business outcomes.
  • You will be the voice of product quality and The team will look to you for confidence and conviction on why a feature is valuable, how it meets the needs of customers and what sets it apart from competitors.
  • You will own your feature backlog from concept, to ship and post-launch refinement bypracticing strong prioritization skills that enable the team to deliver and execute to a level of quality and care our customers have come to expect.
  • You enjoy wearing multiple hats and can easily shift from writing detailed feature briefsand discussing technical plans, to working with UX designers and marketing partners.
  • You will collaborate across multiple partners, teams and organizational boundaries, including directly managing dependencies and collaborations to remove roadblocks and empower your team to achieve results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years+ of Product Management experience.
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience/education. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on UX and design in collaboration with designers and product managers.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with the ambiguity of innovation in a developing business category.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under deadline pressure. 
  • Knowledge of industry standard Program and Product management practices (Agile, Scrum, Lean, rapid-prototyping, A/B experimentation, user research, running customer pilots, etc). 
  • Experience building features in with MR/VR/AR technologies. 
  • Startup experience, building zero-to-one product experiences, or similar background.
