Job Description
Our global automotive client is seeking a 3D Modeler/Unity Developer to join their team. You will be involved in creating computer-generated assets such as stills, animation, AR/VR models. This is a hands-on technical position, requiring a flexible skill set that encompasses both 2D and 3D skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create Photorealistic, hard-surface 3D modeling, texturing, and UV-ing of cars and environments in Maya.
- Assemble scenes for pipeline processing from both internal and external sources
- Build materials for Unreal, VRay, and Substance.
- Rig, animate and simulate 3D objects (using Maya, Craft, and Unreal) such as moving vehicles, opening doors, illuminating headlights, and vehicle suspensions.
- Retouch and color correction
- Light motion graphics and work
- Video editing
Experience:
- Autodesk Maya experience in computer graphics production with a strong understanding of vehicles and their construction.
- 4 years of hard surface modeling, animating, lighting and rendering experience.
- 4+ years of Nuke production experience.
- Adobe Creative suite experience focusing on Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere
- 3+ years of Video editing, Motion Graphics and Photo retouching experience.
- 3+ years experience Material and Shader creation, Substance, V-Ray, and Unreal
- Realtime rendering AR/VR a plus.
- Unity, or related real-time rendering experience
- Python Scripting and related programmatic language a plus.
Abilities:
- Create photo-realistic images and animations.
- Design workflow and process maps.
- Problem-solve technical and creative issues across multiple pipelines and software's
- Display a keen eye for detail.
- A combination of formal training and experience providing expertise in 3D content creation and presentation, and photographic retouching.
- Experience or interest in photography or Auto Industry a plus
