QinetiQ is looking to hire a Chief Engineer to lead the development of new technologies aimed at advancing the capabilities ofairborne C5ISR sensor systems,and will have responsibility in the following areas: Lead the airborne C5ISR sensor systems engineering design, integration, flight testing and upgrade team in system RDT&E trades to include requirements definition and tracking, system and EO/IR, hyperspectral, RF/EW sensors tradeoff analyses, stabilized multi mission payload design and integration to airborne platforms to include fixe wing, rotary wing and UAV platforms, flight testing, Reliability, Maintainability and Failure analyses, system functionality and performance upgrades, and system transition to production. Work with customers, domestic and international strategic partners on adaptation and integration of C5ISR multi mission payloads to airborne platforms, communication nodes and ground control systems. Work with Program Management and senior Leadership to ensure the quality and overall performance of the engineering team and final product. Lead trade studies, testing, and modeling and simulation of the system. To Land This Job, You Need: BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, mechanical engineering or Computer Engineering. MS preferred. 10+years' engineering experience in large C5ISR systems, preferably containing EO/IR, hyperspectral, RF/EW sensors, integrated with fixed swing, rotary wing and UAVs. 5+ years' experience leading engineering teams on a system design, integration, build and testing. 5+ years' experiencein end-to end integrating of C5ISR sensor systems to communication nodes and ground control systems. 5+ years' experience as military officer with experience in airborne platforms preferred.
