Software Engineer Research Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, debug, and test real-time AR and VR interactive software for experimental prototypes and user experiences
- Work with unfamiliar hardware at the SDK level to integrate systems
- Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency
- Iterate quickly with research, design, and hardware engineering to define system specifications, test assumptions, identify research needs, and integrate results
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years creating software for AR/VR or games
- 3+ years experience creating, extending, integrating and maintaining real-time 3D engine systems such as graphics rendering, audio, physics, networking or animation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in computer vision algorithms such as real-time image segmentation, 3D reconstruction, multiview geometry, object detection or object tracking
- 3+ years C/C++ experience, including C++11 (and up) features and principles
