The Technology Development Group (TDG) is working with some of Apple's most advanced emerging technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Key Qualifications

Experience building and leading a team of skilled engineers in a cross-functional environment

2 or more years of experience managing a software development team

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Familiarity in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Objective-C, Swift

Excitement to build software that makes a tangible difference in peoplesʼ lives!

Description

The ideal person for this role is highly technical and knows how to increase their impact by guiding the efforts of a team, but isn't afraid to get into the technical details with them. You'll need to be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, working cross-functionally across large operational units, as well as application and frameworks teams in TDG.


The work you'll do with this team ensures that the newest technologies we create are accessible for blind, low-vision, hearing-impaired, and motor-impaired users. A strong desire to understanding and fulfill the needs of these users is highly recommended. Education & Experience

BS / MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Desired experience with assistive technologies

• Desired experience using accessibility APIs on any platform

The AR/VR Accessibility Engineering Manager starts at a minimum annual salary of $105,600. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
