Primary Responsibilities

Our Boise Idaho office is looking for an experienced Engineering 3D Visualization Specialist to join our firm of professionals. Ideal candidates should have a background in 3D visualization with an emphasis on technical processes, rendering, and compositing. In this mid-level position, you will be responsible for the creation of 3D multi-media to support civil, architectural, and environmental engineering projects. This includes but is not limited to animation, real-time, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), photo-simulations, and design modeling. The position requires the ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced production pipeline environment along with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in visualization, cinematography, 3D modeling and animation, or an equivalent degree.
• High proficiency in Autodesk 3D Studio Max, V-ray with experience in Unity3d, Unreal, Maya, Rhino, Blender, or other visualization software.
• High proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere with experience in 2D animation techniques and graphics development.
• Knowledge of rendering and post-processing techniques for 2D and 3D visualization.
• Experience in CAD platforms such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Bentley Microstation.
• Able to interpret and build detailed 3D models from 2D CAD plans, apply procedural textures, and render complex scenes.
• Programming experience in JavaScript, C#, C++, Python, Java, or MaxScript.
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and a passion for visualization.
• Multi-disciplinary background.
