Data Scientist, New Grad, Krikey

Krikey, an AR gaming app, is seeking a new grad Data Scientist to join our growing team! In this role, you will be focused on building reports to drive growth across our app and web offerings. Your analysis will span games, social, and marketing for the Krikey app. The start date for this role is between May 17 - 24, 2022. This role is fully remote. Anyone who has graduated within the last 12-18 months is eligible for this role.

In this role, you'll have the chance to develop and execute strategies for data-driven product growth. You'll also measure the impact of features we launch across our iOS, Android, and web3 offerings.

The Role:

- Lead the creation of Mixpanel dashboards for product features and create growth reports with product recommendations.

- Review proposed analytics and provide guidance to help unify our approach in implementing them.

- Work with product managers, data engineers, and the marketing team to help analyze datasets and provide product recommendations.

- Conduct sanity checks and add documentation for analytics to help keep our codebase organized and accurate.

Skills:

- Analytics experience in producing reports to drive product decisions

- Expert SQL and Python skills and familiarity with Mixpanel or another product analytics tool

- Knowledge of applied statistics and leading experimentation with cross-functional teams

- Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences

- Familiar with taking initiative and excited to work cross-functionally

Krikey has partnered with Google Maps, The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Foundation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and the National Audubon Society, building custom AR games for each brand partner and reaching 3M+ users. Krikey was founded by sisters (Jhanvi and Ketaki) in 2017. They have previously worked at YouTube, Facebook's Oculus and Google X. Jhanvi holds a BA, MBA from Stanford and an MFA from USC, and Ketaki holds a BA, MA, and PhD from Stanford (in virtual reality and game development). Ketaki was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for gaming in 2020. Krikey was named to the Fast Company list of Best Apps and Games of 2020. In 2021, Krikey won the UserTesting Outstanding Small Business Illumi Award.
