Day to Day:

Insight Global is hiring an Operations Program Manager for a VR client in Pittsburgh, PA dedicated to the research and development required to bring virtual and augmented reality to billions of people around the world. This client aspires to a vision of social VR and AR, where people are able to interact with each other across distances in a way that is indistinguishable from in-person interactions.

 

The main function of this program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities related to continued learning and development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, team culture or any other non technical based project.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain a playbook for programming and projects related to locally focused, Learning & Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and lab-wide morale.

-Partner with internal Meta teams: People Growth, L&D and D&I on supporting global, cross-site initiatives.

-Develop programs and strategies to support leadership in building internal community within their groups and teams.

-Lead key onsite visits including tech talks, community open houses, student outreach programs and recruiting events.

-Manage internal lab-wide calendar and coordinate both internal and external meetings of various sizes.

-Develop, organize and execute (2) Flagship events each year (summer and winter).

-Develop programs focused on community engagement and local partnerships.

-Ensure proper room set ups and working AV prior to lab-wide meetings and events.

-Management of internal communication (i.e. wiki pages, internal posts, comms) focused on L&D, DEI and lab culture, ensuring information is relevant and up to date.

-Recognize and raise up challenges happening within the local organization.
