The MLB Games & VR Associate Producer has great interest in console and mobile games, ideally sports/baseball. The Associate Producer works with the production staff to coordinate delivery of products and features, as well as reviewing quality, helping manage staff, and hitting deadlines. In addition, the Associate Producer will help define both the strategy and product roadmap for the product being worked on.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of various size projects throughout each phase of production and live operations with oversight at key milestones and final product reviews.
  • Work with production staff to define project scope and deliverables that support business goals
  • Act as a liaison, coordinating multiple disciplines such as Development, Art, Audio, Animation, Design, and QA, in order to fulfill project goals and objectives
  • Help production team with writing feature design, testing early iterations and providing feedback to assist in game balancing
  • Manage and track tasks; ensuring product schedules are maintained and adjusted when necessary
  • Track project milestones and deliverables. Report progress, risks and issues on the project to key stakeholders
  • Navigate the QA database and help manage QA process - track issues, assign tasks, and manage QA resources for a project
  • Review data from analytics to help guide decision making for post-launch development and support
  • Coordination and validation of MLB logos and assets — cultivating MLB brand for gaming community
Required Skills And Experience
  • You’re passionate about games, you play games and you are knowledgeable about games
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in mobile and/or game development or been part of a team that has delivered at least one title to market
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technically savvy with a good understanding of computer systems and software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Requires a high degree of flexibility in approach and you must be able to balance structure/process with the needs of a creative and dynamic environment

  • Highly motivated leader who can learn quickly
  • Good understanding of the rules of baseball
  • Can communicate vision and quality objectives within the product development team
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet software
  • Previous experience in JIRA or other issue tracking database software
  • Previous scripting software experience or game engine experience
  • Previous experience with 3D data visualization
