Expected compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Programming Coordinator (AR/VR) to source, select and program immersive video for new AR/VR products.

In this role, you'll organize, prioritize, and schedule content to increase engagement with media on AR/VR surfaces.

We're looking for candidates who have strong organizational skills and a creative mindset.

As a Programming Coordinator (AR/VR), You’ll
  • Perform key curation and scheduling functions for immersive media of various formats.
  • Source and catalog assets and suggest categories and themes that are clear and enticing to targeted consumers.
  • Ensure that content meets quality standards for distribution according to provided guidelines.
  • Create and manage publishing schedules across distribution points.
  • Use awareness of pop culture events to inform curation and scheduling strategy.
  • Use data and insights to inform curation and scheduling strategy.
  • Support real-time programming changes to refresh content and ensure priority content discovery.
  • Triage systems or communication issues that arise and problem solve with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including business development for content rights’ questions; marketing and communications for key calendar moments; and product teams to improve tools.

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in content production, editorial, or operations (preferably with a focus on programming for new or emerging platforms)
  • Ability to work with content and video management systems to troubleshoot problems
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Capacity to drive processes independently and move projects to completion
  • High attention to detail and facility with documenting processes, workflows, and schedules
  • Solid understanding of current trends in pop culture, sports, gaming, and entertainment is a plus
  • Background or demonstrated interest in immersive media is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis is a plus
Commitment:This is a full-time, 9-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Burlingame, CA. It will be fully remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Burlingame, CA area. This role does require some weekends, evenings, and holiday work.
