Position: Virtual Reality Art Producer

Location: Fully Remote/Off-site

Starts: Within a Couple Weeks

Duration: 6 Months

Status: Freelance

Rate: Up to $92/hr (DOE)

Our social media giant client seeks a Virtual Reality Art Producer to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

This role will be fully offsite. You must also be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including the booster.

The Horizon Worlds Art Team is looking for an Art Producer who is passionate about creating a cutting edge virtual reality experience. The Producer will establish and maintain operational procedures, manage art pipelines, scope and provide schedules, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and consistent communication between all key stakeholders. We are focused on building people-first VR experiences. We believe that Virtual Reality will help define the future of online interaction and we can't build that future without you.

The Virtual Reality Art Producer will be responsible for the following:

• Engage with Art team to define the art components, scope, and goals for key features within our various projects
• Initiate and manage vendor contracts/purchase orders
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine mutual vision, goals and project requirements for product features
• Establish and create processes to help the art team run efficiently and smoothly
• Proactively identify and mitigate production red flags while executing against ambitious targets
• Consistently communicate with cross functional partners in providing schedules and timelines into the overall product development programs
• Manage relationships with cross functional teams for critical input on visual targets and localized content
• Track asset pipeline, releases, and versioning
  
  

The ideal Virtual Reality Art Producer should possess the following:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in game development, film, or interactive media
• Experience driving production process and shipping large, multi-medium projects with 3D pipelines
• Proven experience prioritizing and juggling multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines
• Experience working cooperatively with artists, engineers, product managers and designers
• Excellent leadership, communication, and diplomatic skills
• Experience with a range of production toolsets (e.g. Shotgrid, Asana, Jira, Trello)
• Passion for empowering creative teams to produce excellent results
