Ardent Blue Technologies is a software development and staff augmentation company doing business since 2011. We have secured well recognized Fortune 500 clients in a number of domains including game development, game/film/architecture tools, game anti-cheat, IoT, VR and others.

Our client specializes in Virtual Reality training simulations and requires experienced Instructional Designer Specialists. This individual would be a key contributor to the Product Team, helping to create the next generation of immersive training experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

■ Responsible for the full cycle of each VR simulation, (storyboard, development, production, launch)

■ Liaison with artists, developers, and project managers to produce effective and effective training experiences.

■ Documenting and managing all aspects of the simulation for any quality concerns and contribute to the creation and maintenance of design and development standards and process documents including updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

■ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work in a related field (instructional or game design)

■ A minimum of 3+ years experience in instructional design preferably in design or developing within the Virtual reality domain.

■ Experience following storyboards or design documents to develop a learning experience

■ Jira and confluence experience required

■ Workforce/CTE training experience is an asset

The role requires working extensively with a VR headset to ensure the instructional integrity of all simulations.
