- The Insights Marketing team is the engine behind Facebook IQ (soon to be Meta Foresight), Meta’s home for insights and foresights powered by what unfolds on our platforms everyday. Meta Foresight offers ownable and provocative insight and foresight fueling business success today and into the future.
- As a Website & Insights Tooling Marketing Associate on this team, you'll be joining us during an exciting time of growth and evolution. By definition, a marketing associate is responsible for planning and implementing marketing activities through an in-depth understanding of our audience needs as well as the solutions we have to offer. And we want someone who can do just that across our website and insights tools.
- We'll be looking for you to bring energy, organization, creativity, website/ tooling experience, analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking and strong communication skills to this role. This person should have an understanding of global business considerations and experience working with cross-functional relationships, along with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for simplicity, efficiency and scale in processes and projects.
- This is a contract (contingent worker) position ideally based in New York or San Francisco but open to all US Meta Offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in crafting and up-leveling Facebook IQ’s web and tooling strategy.
- Oversee the execution of our insights tool & website strategy, its optimization as well as maintenance. This includes:
- Developing the messaging and marketing materials for our suite of insights tools in the context of our evolved positioning.
- Maintain, update and regularly communicate our digital roadmap to our cross-functional partners.
- Partnering with the brand team to increase awareness of our suite of tools.
- Insights to Go: support the relaunch of Insights to Go with greater curation of insights, positioning and activation of the tool as well as ensuring the data remains relevant and fresh (and managing legal approvals for new data as needed).
- Interactive Reports: maintain the holiday and Ramadan interactive reports in partnership with the research, web and marketing teams and identify new opportunities to up-level the experience in the future. Also, assess if launching a vertical interactive report would make sense for this year.
- Hot Topics: Assist in the deprecation of the hot topics tool as well as migration and potential development of a new trends tool in Q4 2022.
- Support the evolution of Facebook IQ’s across our website and insights tools, ensuring those experiences reflect and align with our new vision.
- Keep a pulse on what interactive experiences our competitors are developing to inspire and inform future plans and roadmaps.
- Execute on testing and measurement strategies to ensure our web strategy and optimization recommendations are grounded in data.
- Support analytics and measurement efforts during quarterly and bi-annual reporting cycles. In partnership with the brand team, run and analyze our bi-annual internal and external performance survey.
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams (like Legal, Brand, Editorial, Creative, Comms, Translations and regional teams) and agencies to ensure creative, copywriting, and overall Facebook IQ messaging on our site and across our tools is cohesive, comprehensive, and consistent.
- Work in close partnership with our web, engineering, SEO and core Facebook IQ team to successfully execute and rollout technical updates and optimizations to our website or tools. This includes leveraging data and SEO guidance to make recommendations for future process, web or tooling improvements.
- Assist in project management, ensuring no details fall through the cracks when it comes to timing and stakeholder involvement for website-related or insights tools projects.
SKILLS
- 5+ years of digital/ web marketing, insights marketing or product marketing experience, preferable: experience scaling insights tools and optimizing website destinations.
- Ability to simplify and optimize complex/ technical products in engaging ways and driving awareness to them.
- Familiarity working with technical teams (web development and cms)
- Experience tracking web analytics and reporting, telling stories with data
- Astute attention to detail
- Understands the nuances of working across a global team
- Proactive attitude when looking for answers
- Creativity and a keen understanding of the end user to build the most engaging experiences to solve their needs.
- Desire to create opportunities and systems where improvements or enhancements can be made.

- BA/BS degree with strong academic background or equivalent experience.
