Our education group is looking for a skilled curriculum developer and/or instructional designer to help us write a few pages of the future. This position will help us do just that by educating developers and creators on the ins and outs of VR and AR development and immersive world-building.

This person will be a key member of a curious bunch producing best-in-class educational programs, courses, and content that have made Scout House a leading provider of immersive education. The ideal candidate is a writer and teacher at heart, able to finesse complex concepts into digestible bites and actionable steps. They will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and a creative crew to craft technically sound, engaging content that inspires, educates, and activates people all over the planet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Take the lead on course design and curriculum development 

-Work closely with subject matter experts to pull out essential information

-Translate technical concepts for appropriate education levels

-Collaborate with creative and production teams to craft compelling scripts, ensuring public facing educational content is succinct and engaging

-Prepare educational materials for online courses, digital workshops, and written resources

-Review content for accuracy and efficacy

REQUIREMENTS

-Experience designing courses for online learning

-Experience developing engaging learning materials in formats like video, infographics, images, and written

-Deep knowledge of curriculum design and education best practices

-Exemplary writing skills with an emphasis on clarity, engagement, and retention

-Critical thinking, analysis, and interpretation of complex concepts and principles

-A knack for organizing information with the end learner in mind

-Passion for immersive technology

-Bachelor's degree or above
