The Niantic Augmented Reality Head Mounted Display (AR HMD) team is on a mission to build the most immersive outdoor gaming experience and we are seeking innovative and pioneering engineers to be part of our journey. Building on Niantic's unparalleled gaming expertise and AR services, we will enable the real-world meta-verse with unique, engaging, and collaborative location based outdoor gaming and non-gaming experiences which encourages everyone to explore and enjoy the world around them.

We are looking for a detailed oriented, highly organized individual to be the go-to person for our hardware, testing, and lab management. This role requires one who excels in working with others to solve problems and has a strong passion for quality and user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Managing hardware inventory for entire team.
  • Receiving, packaging, and sending devices.
  • Performing audits across entire organization.
  • Running pre-canned automation for flashing hardware.
  • Crafting and running test cases.
  • Assisting in indoor and outdoor testing of new devices.
Qualifications
  • Ability to travel into Bellevue, WA office 2-3 times per week.
  • Solid written and verbal communicator.
  • Great collaborator and individual problem solver.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • 1 year experience using databases or spreadsheets.
  • 1 year using Windows and/or UNIX command line utilities.

  • AR/VR, device, mobile, hardware experience.
