Groove Jones, a world-renowned and award-winning studio specializing in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Interactive Entertainment technologies, is currently seeking highly technical, creative, curious, and mission-focused Interns for our Summer Internship Program.

The right candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative environment, they should be organized and have an eye for detail. They should also have an insatiable appetite to research, learn and test their knowledge and skills to build things that haven’t been done before!

Machine Learning Engineer (Handshake ID #5917412):

This person is excited to experiment with back end technologies to train machine learning models. The ML internship will assist in designing and developing the architecture of a scalable machine learning system that will power several data sets and real time collaboration solutions. They should be highly organized with a strong attention to detail, and an insatiable appetite to research, learn and test their knowledge and skills to build things that haven’t been done before. Strong communication skills and ability to receive constructive feedback is necessary. The development team will introduce the intern to how the pipeline works and will be reporting to the ML Dev team lead for feedback, small assignments and guidance.

Qualifications:

-Must be working toward a degree in Computer Science, Video Game Development, or Related Field

-Passionate about AR & VR

-Knowledge of ML language models

-Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or other common ML frameworks a plus
