Position Overview:
We are seeking a candidate who is interested in developing training products for Collins Aerospace by gathering information from multiple sources and be able to explain the concepts using media tools. A candidate should have some experience or interest in multimedia development in the areas of Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work will involve using Unity to apply existing scripts and architecture on 3D CAD models to create training content suitable for desktop and virtual reality. At times, creating new scripts with added functionality. Must be capable of interpreting complex manufacturing instructions.
- 2+ years of Unity game engine and C# experience required. Version control (SVN) and virtual reality experience preferred. Agile and 3Ds Max experience is a bonus.
- Work with Training Designers and Instructors to create multimedia training products
- Experience in working with or developing storyboards to develop multimedia projects desirable
- Experience with Adobe CC suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator)
- Experience with HTML and web design desirable
- Work closely with the team to conduct quality reviews.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Interest in Aviation or in engineering a plus
- Team collaboration skills
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
- Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
- Must be a US citizen
