PRODUCTION - FULL-TIME

With extensive expertise in Virtual Reality, 3D animation, and interactive solutions, we specialize in creating immersive experiences for training, education, marketing, and sales.

Elara is looking for a Programmer to join our team to develop software for virtual and augmented reality applications. Examples of our work can be found here: www.elarasystems.com.

Responsibilities:

• Work on gameplay systems, tools, and other features as required across multiple platforms and technologies
• Collaborate with team members to design solutions and plan work
• Provide estimates and deliver work on schedule
• Work closely with designers, artists, and animators to bring the vision of the project to life
• Report to the Lead Programmer

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of software engineering experience working on modern game engines like UE4 / Unity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Ability to write clean, efficient code in an Object-Oriented language like C# or C++
• Understanding of the strengths/weaknesses of different data structures and algorithms
• Strong 3D math skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tasks
• Self-motivated team player with a cooperative attitude
• Solid organization and time management skills
• Solid oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• A portfolio demonstrating previous personal or professional projects
• Experience building applications for VR
• Ability to author shaders
• Knowledge of in-game character animation
• Experience with a visual scripting language like Blueprints
