Job Title: Virtual Reality Domain Consultant

Location: United States | Remote + Travel (Post-COVID)


Note: Looking for Permanent Residents only.



Job Description:


  • Hands-on experience on various types of Virtual Reality Hardware and Software
  • Candidate to have exposure and/or experience with the following items.
  • Web design, HTML and JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience with Mobile app development - C#, C++
  • Familiarity with Python, MATLAB scripting, Diadem scripting
  • Augmented and Virtual Reality
  • Version control - Git/ GitLab
  • Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer software engineer preferably with a working knowledge of Agile design principles
  • Should be aware / have worked on different product development and design functions/roles
  • Experience in giving design improvement and verification suggestions to the engineering function
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing industry cross-functional processes and deeper understanding of Engineering/Product Development function
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Processes and Tools
  • Good understanding and experience about Digital Twin and Digital Thread Concepts
  • Drive to gain new skill sets and understanding of complex problems
  • Deliver results within the highly flexible structure with little guidance and little oversight
  • Working in a dynamic team environment with diverse member skillsets where support is mostly provided by teammates
  • Ability to provide technical knowledge direction and architecture design leadership in areas of expertise
  • Highly motivated and interested in developing new and innovative solutions for complex technical tools with little to no definition or guidance
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet deadlines



Responsibilities:


  • This position plays a vital role in complex engineering projects and in developing supporting technology solutions
  • The position would be a member of an innovative team tasked to develop, deploy and support virtual reality tools & applications
  • Building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design
  • Key participant in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; Document and demonstrating solutions; Developing flow charts, layouts, and documentation
  • Understands multiple architectures and how to apply architecture to solutions; understands programming and testing standards; understands industry standards for traditional and agile development
  • Leading and helping enhance solution approaches with leadership on implementing Virtual Reality best practices and standards across the enterprise
  • Providing business value leadership to engagements via consulting skills
  • Collaborate and contribute for the Thought Leadership drive of the group via publications or active role in initiatives
