MissionStaff, a leading Tech, Creative and Digital staffing firm has a permanent position for a Web Developer, located in Dallas TX, but the job is 100% remote

Role & Responsibility

As we continue to grow our development team, they are looking for a Sr Developer or Web Development Lead to help provide technical oversight and guidance to our engineers working on our various client projects. The position is full-time and remote within the US,

Our current techstack is React & Typescript on the front-end and Node & Typescript on the backend (with code and CD/CI pipelines hosted in Azure DevOps). We are looking for a candidate with proven experience working in these technologies and with web development in general. While these are what we currently use, in the role you will be empowered to evaluate new and cutting edge technologies, and to propose alternate tech stacks as appropriate.

Our ideal candidate has at least 4 years of web development experience and is ready to transition into a role leading engineering teams. They will also be working directly with our Director of Engineering to make high-level decisions about technologies and standards (while still being comfortable working directly in the code as needed).

We're looking for someone with experience…

· Creating web front-end using React and Typescript that are responsive and performant.

· Creating web back-ends using Node.js, Express, and Typescript that follow standard best practices for scalability and security.

· Working in one or more SQL database engines (Postgres, MySQL, or MSSQL preferred).

· Working collaboratively with other departments (Design, UX, QA, etc.).

Tracking project status using either Azure DevOps or Jira.
